10 Twitter Tools to Organize Your Tweets

1. Twitter Grader – Using a detailed 5 piece algorithm, Twitter Grader assigns every users you run through its system a grade from 1-100. Using this tool you can investigate how engaged the people you’re following are and that can help you decide if you want to keep following them.

2. Twinfluence – Twinfluence is a scientific approach to measuring the influence of Twitter users. It’s another set of metrics you can use to help you figure out who you want to follow.

3. Tweetcloud – One of the most important factors when deciding whether you want to follow a Twitter user is what sort of content they tweet about. If someone tweets mostly about topics you don’t care about, they might not be the best person for you to follow. Tweetcloud creates a tag cloud of a person’s tweets to give you a bird’s eye view of the type of things they tweet about.

4. Twitter Karma – Twitter Karma is a great app that lets you sort through all of your follows and see who’s not following you in return, who you have a mutual follow/follow-back relationship with, and who is following you that you’re not following back.

5. Friend or Follow – Friend or Follow does essentially the same thing as Twitter Karma, helping you figure out who your friends, follows, and fans are on Twitter. The difference is in the presentation, and it might be a little easier to use for those with a large number of follows or followers.

According to a recent study, 80% of Twitter users have less than 10 total tweets. That might not be a bad thing — some people might join Twitter specifically to follow others and track their updates. But inactive users might also not be the best people for you to follow. Here are two tools that can help you weed out the inactives.

6. Nest.Unclutterer – Nest.Unclutterer will automatically block Twitter users who are following more than a certain number of people or who have been inactive for a certain number of days. You can specify those thresholds and white list certain tweeps so that they are exempt from the cleaning. Nest.Unclutterer is actually less about who you’re following, and more about making sure people following you are actually friends you want to be associated with.

7. Twitoria – Twitoria scans through your Twitter account and finds anyone who has been inactive for the past week, two weeks, month, two months, six months, or year.

8. TweetSum – TweetSum digests all your new followers, rates them using what they call the DBI (”Douche Bag Index”), a number that supposedly weeds out Twitter users likely to be annoying, and then lets you easily follow them back or categorize them as tweeps you don’t want to follow. You can see a list of recent tweets for each new follower as well, which is helpful.

9. Tweepler – Tweepler is a new follower management application that lets you make quick, one click decisions about whether to follow people back or drop them into an ignore pile (out of sight, out of mind). In addition to being able to view recent tweets, Tweepler gives helpful stats about new followers, such as average tweets per day.

10. Tweetboard is a fun and engaging message-board type application that runs on your website. It is displayed on each page as an non-intrusive side-tab that you, or your site visitors, “slide out” on-demand.

http://tweetboard.com/alpha/
Tweetboard pulls your Twitter stream in near real-time (max 2 min delay), reformatting tweets into threaded conversations with unlimited nesting. Conversations that spun off the original conversation are also threaded in-line, giving users full perspective of what’s being discussed, beyond what is possible by tracking tweets (and their replies) via Twitter or any client or application available today.

Tweetboard is also a powerful viral tool that engages your website visitors by notifying them of new activity (in the board) “since their last visit”. A tab at the left side of their screen gives them an instant visual prompt of what’s going on:

  • red tab indicates that there *are* new tweets “since their last visit”,
  • green tabindicates that there are *no* new tweets “since their last visit”.

Each time your webiste visitors post via your Tweetboard, a link back to the corresponding conversation is appended to their tweet, creating a viral stream of traffic proportional to the volume of tweeting performed via your Tweetboard.

Mashable Twitter Tips:

It is all about facilitating conversations, so learning how to build your community is vital to getting the most from your experience.

Twitter for Business

It’s not all play on Twitter — there’s serious business being done as well, and this guide will teach you how to put Twitter to work.

Top Twitter Follows

From academics to athletes, writers to environmentalists, here are a number of remarkable Twitterers you may want to follow.

Sharing on TwitterManaging Your Twitter Stream

For the uninitiated, the speed at which information flows on Twitter can be overwhelming. Learn how to manage your Twitter stream.

Twitter For Business (my selections of the best one)

Twitter Follower System (of Danny Whitehouse)

  1. First thing to do is find a user on Twitter who has significantly more follows than you have, into the thousands. For my experiment I chose John Chow, a leading ‘Make Money Online’ Blogger, because we share similar interests.
  2. Once you have found a Twitter user who fits the criteria, head over to http://www.flashtweet.com

Enter your user name and pass to access the program. When you are presented with a navigation list click on ‘mass follow’

When you are on the next screen enter the screen name of the user who we are going to copy their followers, I entered ‘johnchow’. Then just click on a page number, start from 1, and press ‘follow all’ and then hit go. It will take a few seconds to complete but after you have done that, you have added 100 followers just like that. Twitter allows a maximum of 1000 followers a day, so watch you do not go over. I always follow 9 pages each day just to be on the safe side.

3.    So you have added almost a thousand followers to your account in just a few minutes. Logic dictates that 40% of users will follow you back within 48 hours due to all the follow back application like TweetLater http://www.tweetlater.com and so on. Head on over to TweetPular,  This is another cool app that is in beta at the moment, but works very well.

4.    When you are in TweetPular, enter your Twitter user and pass again, watch the funny bird do the moon walk and then you’re in. Click on ‘no follow love’. The application will then present you with a list of users who have not followed you back. Check ‘unfollow all’ and hit go. You may have to do this a few times to get all of them. Once this is done you will have about 40% of the original people who followed you, following you back

You’ll also want to monitor how many people you are actually adding each day; you can do this with Twitter Counter.

It shows you a graph of how many followers, following and other your account has been affected by over the last few days.

With (curtfrieden & Danny Whitehouse about Twitter)

Look at Alexa.com it is good for traffic ranking (you can see how twitter was before and his today) so do the same for your site, blogs, etc…

  • Use Twitter Deck: is easier to use and manage.
  • Use Tr.im: for making shorter links and hiding affiliate link and it’s good for tracking the traffics (it makes your long URL a short one).
  • Use Tweet Later: is like an auto responder – it will tweet people right back but be cool on it because people could get scare. Set up Auto Replied: go to my Twitter account, then its easy to fellow the step automatically.
  • Use Twollo.com: to help you finding targeted people via conversation subject / interests (like google keyword) – but go slowly as lots of people will tweet right back to you. You can use it too get more follower on you Twitter: (auto fellow up) via keyword like: work from home, Magnetic Sponsorship, MLM, Network Marketing, Home Business, etc…
  • Use Ping.fm: to update your social network via tweeter to everywhere i.e.: facebook, Myspace, etc…
  • Use MyTwitterToolbar.com: it’s from the guy from “The Secrets” its very good for twitter tips & twitter tools and all for free.

Go to http://twitter.com/curtsecret to gets the best tips & video from the guru (create an account on Twitter to just fellow gurus – no friends and family)

i.e.: http://twitter.com/francksecret PS: it’s good to schedule time like 15mns to get Gurus (fellow the list of gurus) then 15mns replying via your personnel twitter account. It can be time consuming so make it effective.

Note:

You need to create a relationship and the way to do it is by following your follower and its easier with TwitterDeck so you can reply directly, interact, etc…

Note:

You can Change your twitter background, go to setting, and then designed, change background image.

PS: You can also add flash widget to your blog and Social Network it’s useful too.

Try on Twitter:

  1. by re-twitt other twitter friends (if they good article)
  2. Reply to people,
  3. Participate,
  4. Answer question (if you know the answer)

See: barefoot_exec she twitt people and add other people twitt a lots

Click Search Technique, and then enter a search

i.e.: Iphone a result will be show; press control and scroll on your mousse field (to get all avatar field minimise on the same page) then click control and click avatar that will open all their profile avatar in different tabs, skip the no pictures on avatar as they normally like to stay anonymous so they probably will not come back to you anyway,

Select the one you like i.e.: look if they speak English, ratio, go for people who have a lots of following (that show they are pro-active) so they should follow me back, click control + W (to close window) keep doing it,

Tips new search: rt = retreat, then click control + W (to close window) keep doing it,

Follow limit is 2000 people so do 900 to start then do it again after few days to a week as people can get busy, you should get about 2 third of people who will come back to you (about 600)

New search: click your Twitter karma in google click whack, then your twitter username and password, it will load up. 5 options go for only following, click all boxes, then click bulk unfollow, you want to clean up your Twitter Stream as you can follow only 2000 people so make it worth, its easy and some people will say it’s a spam so go to:

www.socialtoo.com (Guy Kawasaki loves this site)

Twitter Profile It is good for auto-response and other,

http://friendorfollow.com is good to find people then click control + W (to close window) and make sure you follow them or not.

Let’s say:

Monday your follow 999 people, few days later I unfollow the people who didn’t follow me then on Thursday

I do it again; keep doing it twice a week and you should get 1000 people a week on twitter,

My comments:

It was great stuff, thanks curtfrieden & Danny Whitehouse,

It is definitely worth it and I will fellow you and see if you fellow me…J

I learn lots but is more to learn as I understand and it’s a great Marketing tools too.

You need to participate to get result because it’s about creating a relationship.
